Anax awarded NEDO SBIR grant

Anax Optics Inc. was awarded a 20,000,000 JPY grant from the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), in order to develop light-field devices for bio-medical application.

SPIE Exhibition in Yokohama

Anax Optics Inc. will be sharing a booth with Zeeko Ltd. at the SPIE exhibition held at the Pacifico in Yokohama this week. Make sure to come by to check the latest on our optical design software (@Hyperion), polishing software (@AnaxCAM) and optical quotation software (PanDao GmbH).

Anax to exhibit at SPIE in Yokohama

Anax Optics Inc. will be exhibiting at the SPIE Astronomy Conference in Yokohama (June 16-21). Actual samples of Micro-Lens-Arrays produced with our Anax HyperionTM software will be on display, and we will demo our software line-up which includes AnaxCAM, Anax HyperionTM, and Pandao.

Our staff member Mr. Sasaki will also be giving a presentation on Micro-Lens-Array design for temperature sensing. You are warmly welcome to attend and visit our booth!

Anax awarded Ogasawara foundation grant

Anax Optics Inc. was selected by the Ogasawara Toshiaki Memorial Foundation as recipient of a 10,000,000 JPY grant for research and development. This fund will allow Anax to pursue development of an AI module inside our optical design software Anax HyperionTM.

Anax awarded MUFG foundation grant

Anax Optics Inc. was selected by the Mitsubishi UFJ Technology Development Foundation as recipient of a 3,000,000 JPY grant for research and development. This fund will allow Anax to pursue improvements of the Micro-Lens-Arrays (MLA) module inside our optical design software Anax HyperionTM.

Anax Presentation at EOSAM in Dijon

Anax Optics Inc. gave an invited talk on automated design of freeform micro-lens-arrays (MLA) at the iMOTS session of the European Optical Society Annual Meeting (EOSAM) in Dijon.

Anax to represent Pandao GmbH in Japan

ANAX is pleased to announce that it is now representing Switzerland based PanDao GmbH in Japan. PanDao is the developper of powerful AI based sofware that predicts fabrication costs for precision optical elements such as lenses and mirrors.

PanDao works as a cost and risk minimization software. It adds a new step to the design flow of an optics design. It allows you to check for manufacturability during the design stage. Also, it lets you optimize your designs for smallest fabrication costs. The only thing you need is access to a web browser.

Featured on Cover Page of Optica

The Micro-Lens-Array (MLA) design technology developped by ANAX Optics in collaboration with Kyoto University has been featured on the cover page of the January 2022 issue of the prestigious journal Optica, published by the Optical Society of America.

Business Launch

ANAX Optics Inc. was officially registered on March 9th 2022.
