Job brief

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Hyperion software development team. While prior experience with optical design is not required, the candidate should at least have a solid understanding of basic linear algebra and trigonometry, which is an essential aspect of optical ray tracing. Prior experience with AI training methods (DNN, CNN, GAN…) is also welcome.

We would prefer to hire someone with an ambition to grow with the company. As our business expands, the software team will split into several units requiring their own management. Our favored approach is to promote people from within the company.

Requirements

• Prior experience programming with either Matab, Python or C
• Solid understanding of basic linear algebra and trigonometry
• Prior experience with AI training (DNN, CNN, GAN…) is welcome
• Fresh university graduates as well as experienced programmers are welcome
• Willingness to keep on learning new skills
• Proficiency in Japanese or English
